My process is a deliberate dialogue with materials. It begins with the raw, earthen texture of gypsum, hand-mixed into stillness, and complemented by resin—a lustrous counterpoint of vibrancy and transparency. By uniting technical precision with a process guided by gravity, I create objects that fuse the timeless with contemporary form. My work explores the liminal tension between heavy and light, matte and reflective—a fixed moment of flow where raw elements transform into a synthesis of Ash and Sheen. By distilling the silence and the glow of the North into tactile forms, I create anchors for contemplation where the grit of the earth and the radiance of light bloom in quiet, enduring presence.
